ÜBER MICH / ABOUT ME

Mein Name ist Jessica Ronja Pelz, geboren 1992 in Trier. Ich habe Visuelle Kommunikation an der Kunsthochschule Kassel studiert, mit dem Schwerpunkt Comic und Illustration. 2020 schloss ich mein Studium mit dem Master of Fine Arts ab; meine Examensarbeit trug den Titel „Wo der Holler wächst“.

Heute arbeite ich als selbstständige Illustratorin und realisiere freiberufliche redaktionelle Aufträge sowie Projekte für Print- und Online-Medien. Mein Fokus liegt auf der projektbezogenen Visualisierung von Ideen und Konzepten sowie auf der Entwicklung und Umsetzung kreativer Aufgaben.

Seit 2021 bin ich außerdem hauptberuflich als Mediengestalterin beim Kasseler Bärenreiter-Verlag tätig.

My name is Jessica Ronja Pelz, born in 1992 in Trier, Germany. I studied Visual Communication at the University of Art and Design Kassel, specialising in comics and illustration. I graduated in 2020 with a Master of Fine Arts; my final project was titled “Wo der Holler wächst”.

I currently work as a freelance illustrator, taking on editorial commissions and projects for print and online media. My focus lies in the project-based visualisation of ideas and concepts, as well as in the development and realisation of creative tasks.

Since 2021, I have also been working full-time as a media designer at the Kassel-based Bärenreiter publishing house.
